Matt, an Associate at Norvell IP, advises clients on all aspects of intellectual property law, including trademark and copyright prosecution, enforcement, and portfolio management. Matt also advises clients on technology and IP licensing agreements, and has litigation experience through his work on federal district court cases and trademark disputes.
Before joining the firm, Matt was a judicial extern in the United States District Court for the Central District for the Honorable Sue E. Myerscough. Additionally, Matt served as a legal intern in the Department of Athletics at the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill. While there, Matt generated strategies to foster the growth of the University’s brand identity worldwide.
