Joseph V. Norvell (Joe) is the founding partner of Norvell IP and has over 25 years of experience representing global brands in complex trademark matters.  Joe is regularly lead counsel in U.S. federal court litigation, where he has obtained temporary restraining orders, preliminary injunctions and favorable jury verdicts for his clients.  Mr. Norvell is consistently among the top 25 filers of trademark oppositions with the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB) of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, where he has appeared in 100s of proceedings.  Mr. Norvell also has extensive experience in fashion and entertainment, including protection of rights of publicity of famous entertainers, athletes and business executives; trademark licensing; UDRP Internet domain name disputes; franchising; mergers and acquisitions; intellectual property audits; trademark enforcement programs; and the management of global trademark portfolios.
