Laura K. Russell

Laura is an associate at Norvell IP. She advises clients on all aspects of intellectual property law, with emphasis on trademark and brand protection issues. She has worked with clients across a range of industries, including the hospitality, pharmaceutical, and food and beverage industries. Laura’s practice focuses on worldwide trademark clearance, procurement, enforcement, and portfolio management, as well as trademark and copyright litigation in federal court and before the US Patent and Trademark Office’s (USPTO) Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.

Prior to law school, Laura worked as a research assistant to an expert linguist on high-profile trademark cases. During law school, Laura acted as president of the UChicago Law Intellectual Property Society. Before joining Norvell IP, Laura was an associate at a global law firm where she focused her practice on trademark law.
